St Bede’s was founded in 1962 and for over 50 years has provided Catholic education in Scunthorpe. Our school mission is to “Love, Respect and Serve one another as disciples of Jesus Christ”. This was noted in our most recent outstanding Canonical Inspection.

"Excellent school, excellent values"

My son loves St Bede's, he's thriving in Year 9. The Catholic ethos is wonderful, and the facilities are fantastic - the sports pitch is always busy. The teachers are supportive and really care about the children. We're so grateful to be part of this community.

"A great all-round experience"

Our daughter is really enjoying her time at St Bede's, she's made some fantastic friends and is doing well academically. The school trips are always fun, and the teachers are really supportive. We're happy with the school's approach to faith and values, it's been a great influence on our daughter's development.

"A great start to secondary school"

Our daughter has settled in really well to St Bede's, she loves her teachers and the friends she's made. We're impressed with the range of clubs and activities on offer, especially the drama club. The only thing that would make it even better is more support for parents - sometimes it's hard to navigate the website and find the info we need.

"A wonderful education"

My children both attended St Bede's and had an amazing experience. The teachers are excellent, the facilities are top-notch, and the values of the school really shine through. We're so grateful for the education they received and the people they became. St Bede's is truly a special place.
