About Bolton School Infant & Nursery School

We are a large, all-through independent day school set on a stunning 32 acre campus, a mile or so out of the town centre of Bolton. Academic rigour is important to us but so too is character development, which we encourage through delivering a wide range of activities and experiences, including engagement in and with our local community, as well as through outstanding pastoral care.

"Excellent Start to Education"

Bolton School's nursery and infant school have given our child a fantastic start to their educational journey. The teachers are kind, the campus is beautiful, and we love the Horizons Programme. We feel confident in the school's ability to help our child grow and develop.

"Mixed Feelings"

We had mixed experiences with Bolton School, our child enjoyed some aspects, particularly the outdoor learning, but we sometimes felt the pastoral care could be more effective. The teachers were generally good, but not all were as engaged as we'd have liked. Perhaps this is an area for improvement.
