Appassionati di futuro La storia della scuola I nostri 100+ anni La Scuola Professionale Operaia apre Ottobre 1919 Da un'idea e dalla tenacia dell'imprenditore Antonio Bernocchi viene fondata la Scuola che apre nella sede provvisoria nell'odierna piazzetta Assi. La dirige il prof. ing. Giovanni Strobino La Scuola Professionale nella sede attuale Ottobre 1924 Viene inaugurata la nuova sede nell'edificio dell'attuale via Bernocchi, concepito appositamente con l'intento di insegnare per sapere e saper fare Nasce l'Istituto Tecnico Industriale Agosto 1959 Istituito con D.P.R. ma approvato fin dal 1953, autonomo dalla Scuola Professionale, offre corsi per periti meccanici ed elettricisti Si attiva la specializzazione di elettronica Settembre 1970 Il tessuto industriale legnanese richiede specialità più "moderne", tra le quali spicca l'elettronica che entra in gioco nel controllo di processo e nell'automatica Dotazione informatica dei laboratori Settembre 1987 L'informatica non è ancora richiesta come specializzazione, ma fa curriculum per le figure professionali in formazione al Bernocchi La configurazione d'offerta dell'Istituto si completa Settembre 2004 In ambito tecnico-scientifico vengono attivati il corso per Informatici e il liceo scientifico tecnologico; in ambito professionale aprono i corsi IeFP Istituto Statale di Istruzione Superiore Settembre 2013 Vengono raggruppati in un'unica Istituzione Scolastica Autonoma i percorsi professionale, tecnologico e il liceo: nasce l'ISIS Antonio Bernocchi Un'offerta formativa integrata ed interoperabile Settembre 2024 Oggi l'Istituto offre corsi quinquennali e quadriennali della nuova filiera 4+2, corsi mono annuali IFTS e collabora con gli ITS del territorio
