Un bambino, un insegnante, un libro e una penna possono cambiare il mondo (M. Yousafzai) II Liceo Scientifico di Empoli, nasce nel 1960 in via XX Settembre, nella casa con annessa tipografia della famiglia Barbieri, come “costola” del Liceo Classico “Virgilio”, ma già dai primi anni ’70 diventa autonomo, assumendo il nome de “II Pontormo”.
