Istituto Comprensivo Via Agnesi nasce nel 2000 ed accorpa sotto la stessa Dirigenza diverse scuole di Desio. Oggi conta circa 1000 studenti suddivisi in due strutture: l’edificio di via Diaz dove hanno sede la scuola dell’Infanzia “Santa Maria” e la scuola primaria “G. Gavazzi” e l’edificio di Via Agnesi/ Via Stadio dove hanno sede la scuola primaria “Agnesi” e la scuola secondaria di I grado “L. Pirotta”.
