## About

We are a small village school with big ambitions, set in the heart of our village community. Kirk Hammerton CE Primary School is part of the TIG Federation, with Staveley Community Primary School and Long Marston CE Primary School. Through living out our values of Friendship, Respect and Compassion, we seek to grow our nurturing community and recognise that each child is an individual, that all children need to succeed and also should gain an understanding of the wider context of our local and world community.

## Recent parent reviews

- **4/5** — Some Good, Some Room for Improvement: We moved our child to a different school, so unfortunately we can no longer be part of the Kirk Hammerton CE Primary School community. While we appreciated the emphasis on community and the lovely facilities, we felt that the teaching could have been more engaging at times. Still, we have many happy memories of our time here. *(Jun 2022)*
- **5/5** — A True Community Spirit!: Kirk Hammerton CE Primary School has exceeded our expectations. The school's values of Friendship, Respect and Compassion really shine through in the way the children treat each other and the staff. Our child has made great progress and we feel so lucky to be part of the TIG Federation. *(Feb 2021)*
- **5/5** — Lovely School Experience!: We have been so happy with Kirk Hammerton CE Primary School. The teachers and staff are friendly and caring, and the facilities are excellent. Our child has thrived here, especially with the emphasis on Friendship, Respect and Compassion. Highly recommend! *(Sep 2020)*
