## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Great school for anyone who wants academics: My experience at the Holt school has been great I'd recommend it although they do give you extra work and not enough time for revision for tests. *(Sep 2025)*
- **1/5** — BAD SCHOOL: I went to this school many years ago i got severely bullied there and nothing got put in place it ruined my mental health issues so bad to the point i could not go in there most of the girls where horrible. Aswell as the teachers they done nothing about it whatsoever and put no action towards the people who bullied me. I had such amazing grades at the start of year 7 aiming all 9s and my education went completely down hill because of the teachers not doing anything about the bully’s. They had as… *(Aug 2025)*
- **3/5** — What are they doing???They are absolutely stupid: As a current student in year 7 this school is mostly good apart from the amount of time they give you to revise and learn, the teachers are also mostly good apart from some that are rude don't give you second chances and give you detentions like it's a type of currency. There are two things about the school that is the worst first there Is the cafeteria, they say they have exceptional food which is not true and some times the food is not cooked plus they charge way too much with the christmas dinn… *(Jun 2025)*
- **5/5** — The Holt School: As a current student of the Holt School, I think its a brilliant school. There are so many opportunities available to students, like 70 extra-curricular activities to choose from, hockey, cricket, piano, film club etc. The school prepares students thoroughly for examinations, and the teachers are generally really supportive. Because of the school's high expectations of students, lessons on the whole run smoothly, and lessons are interesting. I think their recent "Outstanding" Ofsted rating is an… *(May 2025)*
- **1/5** — if you have the time, pleasee read!!: i've been a student at THS for about 3 years, every increasing day makes me want to leave more and more. i wanted to put as much honesty into this review as possible, though many adults could see me saying this as an 'arrogant teenager who doesn't know whats good for her and what she's talking about' but it's just my opinion. im not fond of the fact adults shut down what their younger generations say about issues like what i'm about to mention just because they're 'older and wiser'. Not trying t… *(Mar 2025)*
- **5/5** — GCSEsssss: I GOT A’s ON EVERYTHING *(Mar 2025)*
- **2/5** — shit.shit.shit: half the teachers are pedos, the safeguarding is an absolute joke. THE FIRE ALARM IS BROKEN it goes several times in a day, is it reliable if there's an actual fire?? the teachers don't care about the students and the majority are awful at teaching. all the students are rude and bitches. the lessons teach you nothing then expect you to know so much when the test come up which are really frequent and stressful. There are too many tests. There are about one test per subject per term plus they don'… *(Oct 2024)*
- **5/5** — Well done Holt School!: My daughter enjoys school at the Holt and would happily recommend it to others. To me that is most important. As a parent, the teachers are very responsive to feedback, and they have excellent values and standards. *(Jul 2024)*
- **5/5** — This is a good school: this sch made me a good person ig *(Sep 2023)*
- **1/5** — DONT GO HERE: what is this school my days. tell me why my form tutor was chatting with her football girls everyday while i was getting apples chucked at me on the bus??? why was it appropriate for a teacher to talk about WAP and viagra in a maths lesson? or what abt the teacher that talks abt mango chutney his pension and brexit all the time in geography? no bcs a whole grown man was holding my mates hand after lesson and telling her that she was his favourite. ive had ten million trillion form tutors (3) and… *(Sep 2023)*
