## About

Our school is a happy and safe place for over 400 children aged 4-11 years old who come to Western each day to learn and play. We are situated less than a mile from Winchester City centre in extensive grounds with far reaching views across the city and beyond to the surrounding countryside. Our outdoor learning opportunities, excellent results and strong focus on developing pupil skills to support well-being and resilience, have enabled our children to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens during their time at Western.

Our child has thrived in the supportive and inclusive environment, and we're so grateful for the opportunities they've had to learn and grow. *(Feb 2023)*
- **5/5** — Excellent Facilities and Programs: Western CE Primary School has exceeded our expectations in every way. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the programs offered, such as breakfast club and tea club, provide a great support for working parents like us. Our child is happy and engaged, and we're confident that they're receiving a top-notch education. *(Sep 2022)*
- **4/5** — A Mixed Experience: We had a somewhat mixed experience with Western CE Primary School. While the staff were generally friendly and the facilities were good, we felt that the school could do more to engage with parents and keep us informed about what was happening. Our child did well academically, but we felt that there were some inconsistencies in the teaching and learning. *(Jun 2022)*
