## About

We are a small, vibrant state run primary school nestled between the picturesque village of Fylingthorpe and Robin Hoods Bay, just a short drive from Whitby. We provide a unique mix of small class sizes, enriching activities (including beach schools, dance and football), and a balanced curriculum taught by our much loved, long standing teachers.

## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Wonderful School Experience: My daughter has been thriving at Fylingdales since starting in Year 1. The teachers are caring and the facilities are excellent - the beach school sessions are a highlight of our week! The Christian values are woven throughout the school and we're grateful for the emphasis on kindness and community. *(Jun 2022)*
- **4/5** — A Great School with Room for Improvement: We've been really pleased with Fylingdales so far. The school has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly. However, we've found that some of the extracurricular activities are a bit hit and miss - we've had good experiences with the football club, but the dance club has been disappointing. *(Sep 2021)*
- **5/5** — A School that Truly Cares: I have fond memories of my time at Fylingdales as a parent. The school does a fantastic job of balancing academic rigor with fun activities like beach schools and sports days. The staff are dedicated and genuinely care about the well-being of each child. *(Mar 2020)*
