Barr Beacon School is a place where success is achieved through hard work and dedication from staff and pupils. We have high expectation of our pupils from their conduct and behaviour in school and out in the community to the way that they wear their uniform with pride. ## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Excellent school with great facilities: My daughter has been attending Barr Beacon School for 3 years now and I'm so impressed with the facilities, teachers and values they've instilled in her. The new sports hall and theatre are fantastic and the staff are always supportive. *(Jun 2023)*
- **5/5** — Barr Beacon School: a great choice for parents: We were nervous about moving to a new area, but Barr Beacon School has exceeded our expectations. The teachers are experienced, the curriculum is challenging and the values they teach are essential for our children's future success. *(Sep 2022)*
- **4/5** — Some positives, but room for improvement: My son attended Barr Beacon School for 2 years, and while the teachers were mostly kind and supportive, I felt that some subjects were lacking in depth and resources. The new headteacher has made some positive changes, but I still think there's room for improvement. *(Apr 2022)*
