## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Excellent school, excellent values: Blackwater is a school that truly lives by its values of kindness, empathy and respect. The teachers are passionate and dedicated, and the school's commitment to outdoor learning is impressive. Our son has grown so much in confidence and we couldn't be happier with his progress. *(Sep 2022)*
- **5/5** — Wonderful school experience: We've had our daughter at Blackwater for 6 years and it's been an absolute pleasure. The staff are supportive and caring, and the outdoor facilities are incredible. Our daughter has thrived in the Wild Time program and has developed a real love of learning. *(Feb 2022)*
- **4/5** — Mixed experience: We had our son at Blackwater for 3 years and had some really positive experiences, particularly with the staff and facilities. However, we did find the communication with teachers to be sometimes lacking and the school's approach to phonics was not as effective for our child as some other methods we've seen. Overall, it was a decent school, but not exceptional. *(Nov 2020)*
