He hasn’t even completed year 7 and already he’s a nervous wreck! I don’t think this is “normal school stress”. Teachers are power crazy with their un-achievable expectations! Most of them don’t even have children of their own so they don’t have a clue! The school expects pupils to hit a level of expectation that even the teachers can’t seem to hit. They can’t even respond to their emails! It has become abundantly clear, that this school has no understanding, empathy and a serious lack of professionalism regarding their mental health. All the school is worried about are funds, or lack of them, when they’re not in school. Their favourite saying is, “we can support”. I gave Kennet my bright, confident, school loving child and they returned an anxious, nervous 16 year old. There was not one day attending that school when my child felt safe and respected or I, as a parent, felt supported. *(Jan 2023)* - **1/5** — Horrible Place: Absolutely appalling school. Teachers do not care about students what so ever. The noise disruption in classrooms is shocking. Fights on site all the time - I was concerned for my own safety there. Do not send your kids to kennet. You get get them far better education elsewhere. Does not handle bullying - incidents well. Ive been a student at this school for a while and i can see how people would put a good review but honestly i’ve changed so much since being here.
