While the school delivered a passable academic education, it fell short in far more crucial ways. Individuality wasn’t nurtured, and the emotional support young people need to actually find themselves was absent. The facilities are top-notch, and the teachers are passionate and supportive. The focus on character development and community service is exactly what we wanted for our child. *(Sep 2022)* - **4/5** — Good School, But Some Communication Issues: We've been happy with our experience at Freemen's so far, but sometimes communication can be a bit lacking. The teachers are generally great, and the curriculum is engaging, but we've had some issues with getting timely updates on our child's progress. *(Dec 2021)* - **2/5** — Good Grades, Awful Leadership: I left this school in Year 11, having finished my GCSEs there. This was especially harmful because of Covid-19, as, in my opinion, the school did not do enough to protect its pupils an… *(Oct 2021)* - **4/5** — Our Son Thrived at Freemen's: Our son attended Freemen's from Year 3 to Year 13 and had an amazing experience. The school's values of 'learn, lead, and make a difference' really resonated with him, and he developed a strong sense of confidence and purpose. *(Jun 2020)* ## Other schools in Surrey - [Hoe Bridge School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/surrey/hoe-bridge-school-10020) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) - [Cobham Montessori School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/surrey/cobham-montessori-school-21680) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) - [Elysian, Shamley Green](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/surrey/elysian-shamley-green-21268) — 4.7/5 (3 reviews) - [Al-Khair Secondary Girls](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/surrey/al-khair-secondary-girls-20711) — 4.7/5 (3 reviews) - [Ripley Court School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/surrey/ripley-court-school-10016) — 4.7/5 (3 reviews) - [Danes Hill School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/surrey/danes-hill-school-10015) — 4.7/5 (3 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
