When there are problems the staff become very secretive, evasive, and at times just dishonest. I had very high hopes for the school originally, but it's inability to exercise it's disciplinary powers have left it creating a lord of the flies impression, with violence to often an occurrence. There are communication problems amongst staff, with staff in key safeguarding positions unaware of messages given to the school office. This pos… *(May 2025)* - **4/5** — PBA Review (by student): Overall, PBA is a good quality school. It offers lots slots of extracurricular activities and has a curriculum that I think is enjoyable. However, the outdoor environment (e.g. The playground) has a lot of litter and is getting quite crammed now that the school is bigger than when it was first made. P.S. A regular school dinner is £3, which I think is slightly overpriced. *(May 2025)* - **1/5** — School review: This school is good for my children but got informed today something happened and it was good for the school picture the teacher took my sons rubix cube and start getting his sweating hands all over it and my son doesn’t like germs , so over all good school but could be a lot better . *(Mar 2025)* - **2/5** — pixbrook academy: --- **Review of Pixbrook Academy** I had high hopes for Pixbrook Academy, but unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. The communication from staff is often unclear, leading to confusion about important events and deadlines. Additionally, the facilities seem outdated and in need of maintenance, which detracts from the overall learning environment. The curriculum, while ambitious, sometimes feels unorganized and lacks the necessary support for students who may be struggling. It's conc… *(Mar 2025)* - **2/5** — pixbrook academy school: the playground is kinda mid and the school is getting a bit cramped *(Mar 2025)* - **1/5** — Pix Brook Academy: There's a lot of stairs and you're not allowed to use the elevator. (yes, even if you have breathing issues) Some of the school dinners are good but most are bad (the cheese on Mac & cheese looks and tastes like melted glue.) The lessons are usually just the same thing for a whole term. Way too much homework. *(May 2023)* - **5/5** — A school that truly cares about its students: I've been blown away by the dedication and enthusiasm of the staff at Pix Brook Academy. The school's commitment to social responsibility and aspiration is evident in every aspect of its curriculum and extracurricular activities. My child feels valued and supported, and I'm grateful for the opportunities they're receiving. *(Feb 2023)* - **5/5** — Excellent School Experience so far!: I'm so impressed with the facilities at Pix Brook Academy and the values that the school instills in its students. My child has settled in well and loves the after-school programs, especially the music classes. The teachers are also very supportive and keep us informed about our child's progress. *(Sep 2022)* - **4/5** — Some ups and downs, but overall a good experience: We moved to the area about 2 years ago, and my child started at Pix Brook Academy. While the school has some excellent programs and facilities, I felt that the communication with parents could improve. Additionally, I found the transition from primary to secondary to be a bit rocky for my child. However, the teachers seemed to care, and my child did well in the end. *(Jun 2022)* ## Other schools in Stotfold - [Poppies Nursery](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/stotfold/poppies-nursery-EY217430) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
