The majority of the staff at Longsands have been trained to put discipline before education. This is not a prison and the teachers are not officers of the law. Longsands students are unfortunately already set to fail at this school. And the majority of the teachers will tell lies in order to punish the students unlawfully. Are there any others parents out there who feel the same and want to write to DfE with me? *(Jun 2025)* - **1/5** — I needed mental help because of this school: I may or may have not written a review on this school yet, but I’ll do it anyways, this school DISGUSTS me, it’s the worst school ever. Many students there are so horrible, I was bullied and teased, and no I don’t go to this stupid school anymore, but whenever at least some idiotic student from here sees me, what do they do? Bully me. I once told the school I was getting bullied they did NOTHING, not even talk to the people I told them about. Like seriously I got detentions for being only 1-2 minutes late, I was actually so so mad, I physically couldn’t get out of bed or anything and was always sick, then always got forced in by other teachers (I think one time I was out of lesson coz I needed to talk with a teacher on what was happening to me and all that because I was badly struggling) and instead it was all about my attendance, like what?
