## About

Crosshall Junior School is a dynamic environment; no year is the same, as no group of children or individuals are the same. The school offers a consistent approach across the years and has high expectations. Children are nurtured and feel cared about, as demonstrated by our accreditation as the Flagship School: Centre of Excellence for Inclusion – the only school in the whole of the eastern region.

## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Excellent school for my child: I've been thoroughly impressed with Crosshall Junior School since my child started in Year 4. The facilities are great, especially the library and the sports field. The teachers are supportive and enthusiastic, and the values of the school really shine through in the way the children are encouraged to be kind and respectful to one another. My child has really thrived here and I couldn't be happier. *(Sep 2022)*
- **5/5** — Fantastic school with a real sense of community: I've been really impressed with Crosshall Junior School since my child started in Year 3. The teachers are all very supportive and enthusiastic, and the school's approach to education is really engaging. I love the emphasis on developing the whole child, not just academically, and the opportunities for extension and enrichment that the school offers. My child is really happy here and I feel like we've found a real home. *(Feb 2022)*
- **4/5** — Great school, but some room for improvement: As a former parent of a Year 6 child, I have to say that I was initially impressed with Crosshall Junior School. The school's approach to education and the values it promotes are really great. However, I did feel that the pastoral care for my child could have been better - there were a few times when they felt left out in class. Overall, though, I think it's a great school and would definitely recommend it to others. *(Jun 2021)*
