About Deer Park School

Deer Park School is a modern, purpose-built seven form entry Secondary School with capacity for 1050 students and potential for future expansion. It is located at the heart of the Uplands Developent in Hedge End and backs onto a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC). The school has been designed to provide a high quality learning environment that is safe and stimulating, and supports and facilitates student learning.

"Excellent School with Friendly Staff"

We've been at Deer Park School for just over a year now and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The facilities are amazing, our daughter loves the music academy and the staff are always so helpful and friendly. The values of the school really shine through in the way the children are treated with kindness and respect.

"Excellent Education and Opportunities"

Our son attended Deer Park School for his GCSEs and we were incredibly impressed with the education he received. The teachers were experienced and supportive, and the opportunities for extracurricular activities were fantastic. He's now at university and credits his time at Deer Park with preparing him for the next stage of his journey.

"Good School, Some Areas for Improvement"

I was a bit hesitant to send my daughter to Deer Park School at first, but I've been really impressed with the progress she's made. The Chromebook scheme has been a big help and she loves the house system. My main concern is the lack of communication from the school when my daughter is absent, I've had to chase up reports a few times. Overall, though, I'm happy with the school and would recommend it to others.
