About Holmbush Primary Academy

Holmbush Primary Academy is a primary school that provides a safe, attractive and stimulating learning environment for over 200 pupils of ages 4 to 11. We have excellent ICT provision and a fantastic library offering a huge selection of books. We are part of the University of Brighton Academies Trust.

"Some great aspects, but room for improvement"

We've had a mixed experience at Holmbush Primary. The facilities are great, especially the library and outside classroom. However, we've struggled with communication from the school at times, and our child's progress hasn't always been clear. That being said, there are some fantastic teachers and support staff who really care about the children. We just hope to see some improvements in the future.

"Holmbush Primary is a Hidden Gem"

My child joined Holmbush Primary in Year 3 and I have been blown away by the excellent education and care she has received. The facilities are top-notch, especially the library and outside classroom. The values of the school, such as ambition and excellence, really resonate with me as a parent. We feel so lucky to be part of the Holmbush community!

"A great start to our child's education"

My child started at Holmbush Primary in Reception and we've been really impressed with the school. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are great. We love the idea of the school's values and the emphasis on community and inclusivity. Our child is happy and thriving, and we feel confident that they're receiving a great education.

"Holmbush helped our child thrive"

We have two children who passed through Holmbush Primary and both of them had a fantastic experience. The school's emphasis on inclusion and support really helped our son, who has SEND needs. The staff are passionate and dedicated, and the facilities are excellent. We're so grateful for the care and education our children received at Holmbush.
