## About

Lowedges Primary Academy is an excellent primary school, taking children from 3 years old to 11 years old, within the S8 area. We are part of Aston Community Education Trust (ACET), where we work very closely as a family of schools from across Rotherham, Sheffield and Derbyshire. ## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Exceptional Experience at Lowedges: We've been absolutely delighted with the education our children have received at Lowedges. The staff are caring, the facilities are excellent and the values they instil in the children are fantastic. We're grateful for the love of reading they've encouraged in our children and the opportunities they've had to participate in sports and other activities. *(Sep 2022)*
- **5/5** — Supportive and Nurturing Environment: We've been very impressed with the way the school has supported our child, particularly in terms of their inclusion programme. The teachers are friendly and approachable and we feel confident that our child is in good hands. The facilities are great and the after-school activities have been a wonderful addition to our child's week. *(Nov 2021)*
- **4/5** — Room for Improvement: We had a mixed experience at Lowedges. The staff were generally caring and the facilities were good, but we felt that the curriculum could be more challenging for more able children. We were also disappointed with the communication between the school and parents, which sometimes felt a bit impersonal. *(May 2020)*
