About Grenoside Community Primary School

Grenoside Community Primary School is a lovely, warm and inviting school with great teachers. We are co-educational and have just under 350 on roll with pupils coming from Grenoside and from the wider local area. We believe that school provides a firm foundation for your child’s future and a lifelong love of learning.

"Love Grenoside Community Primary School"

My child loves attending Grenoside Community Primary School. The staff are always friendly and supportive. The school's values of communication, co-operation, self-esteem, creativity, independence, and reflection really shine through in the way the children are encouraged to learn.

"Mixed Feelings about the School"

While Grenoside Community Primary School has some excellent aspects, such as its enthusiastic staff and warm atmosphere, we have been disappointed with the quality of teaching in some year groups. We hope that the school will continue to work on improving its educational standards.

"Fantastic School with Excellent Headteacher"

Mr Lian is an outstanding headteacher who truly cares about every child at Grenoside Community Primary School. The school's facilities are also first-rate, with a lovely playground and excellent resources for the children to learn with.
