About Chafyn Grove School

Chafyn Grove is a school of over 200 boys and girls, between the ages of three and thirteen. It is set on the edge of Salisbury in its own spacious grounds, with both the cathedral and the local countryside within walking distance. Chafyn children enjoy excellent facilities, first-class teaching and unrivalled opportunities.

"Some mixed feelings"

We've been at Chafyn Grove for a few years now, and while the school has many great aspects, I'm not entirely convinced that the values and mission are always put into practice. The facilities are excellent, but sometimes I feel like the children are just going through the motions.

"Amazing experience at Chafyn Grove"

My daughter has thrived at Chafyn Grove, the facilities are excellent and the staff are always so supportive. The enjoyable challenge philosophy really resonates with me, it's not too easy but not too hard, just right for a happy and engaged child.

"Chafyn Grove helped my child shine"

I was a bit worried when my child joined Chafyn Grove, but from the very start they have been supported and encouraged to be their best self. The outdoor learning opportunities and links with the local environment are a real strength of the school.

"Love the sense of community"

We were looking for a school that would offer our child a sense of community and a supportive environment, and Chafyn Grove has definitely delivered. The astro turf is a big plus point for my son, and the LAMDA and music programs are fantastic.
