About Koru Independent AP Academy

Koru Independent AP Academy works with young people aged 11-16 who are not able to attend mainstream school. Koru is based in Harold hill, Romford. We have a well resourced provision and our school building has been recently refurbished.

"Excellent Support for Our Son"

We've been so impressed with the Koru team, who have worked tirelessly to help our son thrive. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the growth mind-set philosophy is really evident in everything they do.

"Mixed Experience"

We've had a mixed experience with Koru - some fantastic staff members, but a few areas where we felt communication could be improved. The Arbor app has been really helpful in keeping us informed, but we still feel a bit in the dark sometimes.
