Amberleigh Residential Therapeutic School, located at Golfa Hall near Welshpool in Powys, is an independent special school providing education, care, and therapy for up to 20 boys aged 11 to 18 years. The school specializes in supporting young males who have exhibited harmful sexual behaviors, often underpinned by early life trauma and other complex needs such as autism spectrum disorders or mild learning difficulties. It operates as a therapeutic community with a nurturing environment focused on social, emotional, and academic development. The curriculum is personalized and therapeutic, combining academic, vocational, recreational, and therapeutic activities to prepare pupils for positive societal contributions.
