"Outstanding School and Amazing Community!"

My daughter has thrived at Mapperley Plains from the moment she started. The school's values of Be Kind, Be Curious, and Be my Best are lived and breathed every day. The facilities are fantastic and the teachers are always approachable. I love the wrap-around care and the way the school involves parents in the community.

"A Great School with a Wonderful Atmosphere"

We chose Mapperley Plains for its excellent reputation and we've not been disappointed. The school's focus on kindness and respect is really impressive and my son has made some wonderful friends. The open days for prospective parents are a great way to get a feel for the school and we loved meeting the teachers and staff.

"A Good School but Not Perfect"

We had a great experience at Mapperley Plains when my child was in Reception. The nursery provision was excellent and the teachers were always cheerful and supportive. However, as my child progressed to Year 2, we started to notice a bit of a gap between the 'haves' and 'have-nots' in terms of academic ability. The school tries its best to provide extra support but it's not always consistent.
