About Burrough Green CofE Primary Academy

Burrough Green CofE Primary Academy is a small school in the heart of the village of Burrough Green, 6 miles south of Newmarket in beautiful, open countryside. We are proud of our historical roots as one of the oldest schools in Cambridgeshire, but we are also a forward-looking school with fantastic facilities in our modern school building. We are a friendly and welcoming school with kindness as our foundation.

"Amazing experience for our little one!"

We've been so impressed with the school's commitment to kindness and compassion. The staff are warm and welcoming, and our child is thriving in their classes. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and we love the community feel of the school.

"Mixed experience"

We've had some great moments at the school, but we're not entirely satisfied with the maths program. Our child's teacher seems to be making an effort to engage them, but we feel like they're not getting the support they need. Still, the school's values are great, and we appreciate the community feel.

"Wonderful school with a strong sense of community"

We moved to a different area, but we still miss the school so much. The teachers were always pushing our child to reach their potential, and the values of the school really resonated with us. We loved the phonics program and the way the school encouraged a love of learning.
