- **5/5** — A warm and welcoming community!: We've been at Slaley First School for over a year now and I'm so glad we made the decision to move our child here. The staff are friendly and genuinely invested in the children's well-being and learning. The 'Buddies' program for children with additional needs is particularly impressive. We've experienced a seamless transition into Reception and Reception has been a wonderful year for our child so far. We feel lucky to be part of this school community! *(Sep 2022)*

My child loves their teacher and the other staff are always available to chat about their progress. The facilities are also great, especially the outdoor classroom. However, I do wish there was more flexibility in the after-school club options. Overall, a great school that I feel confident sending my child to! *(Jun 2021)*

While the staff were always friendly and the facilities were decent, I felt that the curriculum could be more engaging and there were some issues with communication between teachers and parents. I appreciated the emphasis on 'Respect, Responsibility, Resilience' but sometimes felt that these values weren't consistently enforced. Overall, it was an average experience for us. *(Mar 2020)*
