## About

Our Lady of Victories School originated in the late 1800’s when the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Victories Church set up a “Poor School” in a hall in the grounds of the Assumption Convent in Kensington Square. The need for the provision of Catholic education for local children had been exacerbated by the arrival in the area of many Catholic French Émigrés with their families. Even at this early point in its history, Our Lady of Victories School had built a reputation for success which was recognised by both the Catholic authorities and Government inspectors.

- **5/5** — A great Catholic school: We were initially drawn to OLVCPS because of its strong Catholic values and ethos. Our son has been at the school for a year now and we've been impressed by the way the teachers encourage him to develop his faith. The curriculum is broad and engaging, and the facilities are modern and well-maintained. *(Jun 2022)*

- **4/5** — Mixed feelings about our time at OLVCPS: We had a mixed experience at OLVCPS - our child was supported well academically but we sometimes felt that the school could do more to engage with parents. The facilities are certainly impressive, but we sometimes felt that the school could be more communicative and transparent. *(Dec 2020)*
