I reckon the prices around Camden and Islington would more “manageable” than south Kensington/west london and depending on where you are in East London it is not that far away anyway, so you wouldn’t need to move too far away. I live near the school in Kentish Town and have friends sending their kids there. Definitely worth checking out - there are some really nice parts around there. The tube station is shut at the moment, but will… *(Dec 2024)*
