About Rake CofE Primary School

Rake CE Primary is a small village school, situated at the edge of Rake village, in the South Downs National Park. It has a stimulating and supportive environment, in which all children have the opportunity to develop their individual talents. Our school offers a vibrant and creative curriculum, through well planned, focused teaching, incorporating visits, after school clubs and use of our exceptional outdoor surroundings and sports field.

"Love our village school!"

We've been at Rake CE Primary for two years now and we couldn't be happier. The heated swimming pool is a hit with our kids, and the Forest School sessions are a great way to get them learning outdoors. The staff are friendly and know each child so well, making us feel supported every step of the way.

"Wonderful experience for our child"

We moved away from the area but the memories of our time at Rake CE Primary are still so fond. The school's focus on individual talents and the supportive environment really helped our child thrive. We're grateful for the friendships made and the lessons learned - it's a truly special place.

"Good but room for improvement"

We've had a decent experience at Rake CE Primary, with some great teachers and activities. However, we feel the school could do more to engage with parents - we'd love to see more communication about what's happening and how we can get involved. Still, our child loves the outdoor learning and the heated pool is a bonus!
