About New York Primary School

We are very proud of our school, our staff and pupils. We set high expectations for our pupils in both learning and behaviour and as such we have a supportive framework in place to help them every step of the way whilst still ensuring we operate as a nurturing family environment.

"Wonderful school community!"

My child has been at New York Primary School for two years now, and I must say I've been thoroughly impressed with the school's commitment to its values. The 'open doors' policy has helped me stay informed about my child's progress, and the supportive environment has made me feel at ease. I've seen my child grow in confidence and develop a love for learning.

"Mixed experience"

While my child has enjoyed their time at New York Primary, I feel that the school could improve communication with parents. At times, I've found it difficult to get in touch with teachers or receive updates on my child's progress. However, the school's values and commitment to student well-being are truly commendable, making it a lovely community to be part of.

"Excellent academic standards"

I've been impressed with the school's focus on academic excellence, which is evident in the curriculum and teaching methods. My child has made great progress since starting at New York Primary, and I appreciate the regular updates from the teachers. The school's commitment to raising academic standards is truly commendable.

"Fantastic facilities and staff"

Although my child has moved on to secondary school, I still have fond memories of their time at New York Primary. The school's facilities, such as the sports hall and outdoor spaces, provide ample opportunities for physical activity and development. The staff were always approachable and enthusiastic, making it an enjoyable experience for both my child and me.
