Our schools are happy and vibrant places with high aspirations and expectations for all our children. We work actively with our parents and community to ensure that we provide the best educational experiences for our children. At Bainbridge and West Burton our Christian ethos underpins the life of the schools and is the basis of our excellent relationships with our parents, local communities and churches.

"Lovely school with supportive community"

We've been so impressed with Askrigg Voluntary Controlled Primary School. The facilities are excellent, especially the playground and sports equipment. The values of kindness, respect, and courage are clearly at the heart of everything they do. I feel lucky to have my child in such a loving and supportive community.

"Friendly and welcoming atmosphere"

We've only just started at Askrigg Voluntary Controlled Primary School, but we've been made to feel so welcome. The children are friendly and the staff are lovely. The facilities are great, and I appreciate the emphasis on outdoor learning and exploration. I'm looking forward to seeing my child grow and thrive here.

"Good school with some minor concerns"

Askrigg Voluntary Controlled Primary School has its strengths and weaknesses. The teachers are generally good, and the facilities are okay. However, I've had some concerns about the communication between the school and parents, and I wish they would provide more feedback on my child's progress. Overall, it's a good school, but it could be improved.

"Excellent teachers and happy children"

As a former parent, I can confidently say that Askrigg Voluntary Controlled Primary School is an exceptional school. The teachers are dedicated and passionate about their work, and the children are happy and engaged. I appreciated the regular updates and communication from the school, and the sense of community was wonderful.
