## About

Hockliffe Lower School is a small, friendly village school, set in the attractive Bedfordshire countryside. The beauty of the school grounds provides a wide range of outdoor areas, which are a source of inspiration for our children’s learning. We have a trained Forest School teacher, so that all of our children have the opportunity each year to extend their learning in a dedicated outdoor space.

## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — A wonderful school for our little ones: My daughter has settled in beautifully at Hockliffe Lower School. We love the Forest School program and the dedication to teaching values such as hope and kindness. The playground is a particular highlight and I've noticed how much confidence she's gained since starting here. *(Jun 2022)*
- **5/5** — An outstanding school that truly cares: As a parent, it's a relief to know that your child is safe and supported in a school that genuinely prioritises their well-being. Hockliffe Lower School has exceeded our expectations in every way, from the friendly staff to the excellent facilities. The monthly values are also a lovely touch! *(Sep 2021)*
- **4/5** — A good school, but some room for improvement: My child attended Hockliffe Lower School a few years ago and we had a generally positive experience. The teachers were supportive and the school's values were evident in the way they taught. However, I felt that the school could have done more to engage with parents and keep us informed about our child's progress. *(Mar 2020)*
