We are a Church School. We believe it is really important that families visit prospective schools, ours included, to get a feel for the ethos and vision of the school and to see if it is the ‘right fit’ for their child.

"Some areas for improvement"

We like Monk Fryston C of E but there are a few things we feel could be improved. The school meal options could be more varied and the PE facilities could benefit from some updates. Overall, though, our child is happy and learning well.

"Excellent school with caring staff"

We're so happy with Monk Fryston C of E Primary. The teachers are always available to talk and the kids love the Green Flag eco-school initiatives. The open evening was also very informative.

"Our child loves coming to school"

Our son is in Year 2 and absolutely loves attending Monk Fryston. The teachers are engaging and the daily activities in class are well-structured. We're impressed with the progress he's made so far.

"Wonderful school with great values"

We were at Monk Fryston for 3 years and had a fantastic experience. The Christian values are evident throughout the school and the children are encouraged to be their best selves. We miss the school dearly!
