## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Excellent education and beautiful setting: We moved to the area a year ago, and our son loves going to Bassenthwaite Primary. The teachers are dedicated and enthusiastic, and the curriculum is well-rounded and engaging. We appreciate the school's focus on sustainability and outdoor learning, and the beautiful Lake District surroundings provide endless opportunities for exploration and discovery. *(Jun 2022)*
- **5/5** — Warm and caring community, wonderful learning environment: My daughter has been at Bassenthwaite Primary for two years now, and we've had a truly wonderful experience. The school's values of kindness, respect, and hard work are evident in every aspect of school life. The wraparound care and after-school clubs are a huge hit with our family, and the teachers are always approachable and supportive. We feel so lucky to be part of this community! *(Mar 2022)*
- **4/5** — Some positives, but areas for improvement: I have mixed feelings about Bassenthwaite Primary. On the one hand, my son loved the Forest Schools program and the friendly teachers. However, I felt that the school communication was sometimes patchy, and there were a few instances where our needs as parents were not fully met. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it to others. *(Sep 2020)*
