## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — A Hidden Gem in Ilkeston!: I've had my children at Ladywood Primary for a few years now and I'm constantly impressed by the dedication and expertise of the teaching staff, especially Mrs. Thompson in Year 4. The facilities are well-maintained and always clean, and the children love the outdoor play equipment. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it feel like a true community. *(Jan 2026)*
- **4/5** — Some Good, Some Not So Good: My daughter is in Year 2 and we've had mixed experiences at Ladywood. Some of the teachers, like Miss Patel, are fantastic, but others seem a bit disorganised. The school does a good job of promoting diversity and inclusion, but I wish they'd do more to engage with parents. Overall, it's an okay school, but we're considering other options for the future. *(Mar 2025)*
