## About

Kirkheaton Primary School is a loving family school, that makes no apologies for the value we place on the relentless approach we have to ensuring all of our children receive the best care and education. We encourage families to share any problems with us, any small problem, as we understand a small problem is easier to fix than when it becomes a bigger issue. Our children are incredible, and our mission statement is to be 'Active Citizens'.

## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Exceptional Education and Facilities: We've been impressed by the school's facilities, particularly the outdoor play areas and the school's commitment to sustainability. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their subjects, which has really helped my son develop a love for learning. I'm also grateful for the school's emphasis on the 'Active Citizens' values, which we're seeing reflected in his everyday behavior. *(Mar 2023)*
- **5/5** — Incredible School Experience for My Child: My daughter has been at Kirkheaton Primary for two years now and it's been an absolute pleasure. The staff are caring, supportive and genuinely invested in the children's well-being and education. My daughter has thrived in the school's safe and nurturing environment and I'm so grateful for the opportunities she's had through the enrichment programs, like the local community trips. *(Sep 2022)*
- **4/5** — Good but Could Improve in Some Areas: We had a generally positive experience at Kirkheaton Primary with our son, who attended from Year 1 to Year 6. The school's commitment to safeguarding and the 'Active Citizens' values was reassuring, and our son enjoyed the enrichment programs. However, we found the communication with teachers could sometimes be inconsistent, and we felt that some subjects were not thoroughly explored. Overall, it was a good school, but there's room for improvement. *(Dec 2021)*
