Bradwell Junior School is a small, friendly Junior School in the village of Bradwell that sits in the beautiful Peak District. We strive to create an environment where we are all learners, where curiosity is encouraged and where a love for learning is fostered. We believe that for children to thrive, they must feel safe and be happy in their environment and relationships.

"A true gem in the Peak District"

We've been at Bradwell Junior School for three years now, and every year has been a delight. The values of respect, resilience, raising aspirations and caring for the environment are genuinely embedded in the school's ethos, and it shows in the children's attitudes and behaviour. We're so proud to be a part of the Bradwell Junior community.

"Mixed feelings about the transition"

My child started at Bradwell Junior in September, and while we've had a warm welcome and some lovely experiences, I'm still getting used to the mixed-age classes and some of the teaching styles. The values of respect and care for the environment are definitely present, but I'm not entirely convinced about the curriculum yet.

"A warm and welcoming community"

We've been at Bradwell Junior for two years now, and from the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcomed and included. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the values of respect and care for others are genuinely lived out in the school. Our child loves learning here and is thriving in their new environment.

"A love for learning fostered here"

Our children attended Bradwell Junior from Year 3 to Year 6, and we couldn't be happier with the education and experience they received. The curriculum is broad, engaging, and tailored to meet the needs of each child, and the staff are always supportive and responsive. We've seen our children grow into confident, curious, and compassionate individuals.
