About William Ransom Primary School

William Ransom is a happy, ambitious and inclusive school. We are a two-form entry, state-funded, non-selective community primary school for children of Reception age (4 years old) through to Year 6 (11 years old). We have a very strong sense of community here and we work hand-in-hand with our parents, as partners, to offer every child as many opportunities as we can.

"Fantastic Facilities and Friendly Staff"

We've been at William Ransom for a year now, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the facilities and staff. The Orbit is a great space for kids to explore and learn, and the teachers are always going the extra mile to support our children. Highly recommend!

"Excellent School with a Great Community"

I'm so grateful to be a part of the William Ransom community! The school's values of kindness, effort, and respect are truly embedded in everything they do. My child loves the Bug Club and Just Talk programs, and the teachers are always available to chat. We're really happy here!

"Mixed Feelings about WR"

I have mixed feelings about our time at William Ransom. On the one hand, my child made some great friends and had some fantastic experiences, like the storytelling day and the sports events. However, I felt that the school could have done more to support my child's learning gaps. Still, it's a lovely community, and I'm grateful for the memories.
