## Recent parent reviews

- **4/5** — Mixed feelings about Hexham First: While our son has settled well at Hexham First School, we have some reservations about the school's approach to homework and assessment. The staff are generally friendly, but we feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and provide feedback on our child's progress. That being said, the school's forest school program is a highlight, and our son loves learning outdoors *(May 2023)*
- **5/5** — Excellent all-around school!: Our daughter has been attending Hexham First School for two years now, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The teachers are supportive, the facilities are great, and the school's values of kindness and respect are truly embedded in the children. We love the extra-curricular activities on offer, and our daughter has really benefited from the gardening and mindfulness clubs. *(Feb 2023)*
- **5/5** — A wonderful community-focused school: My daughter attended Hexham First School for four years, and we were thoroughly impressed with the care and education she received. The staff are dedicated, the facilities are well-maintained, and the school's commitment to community involvement is truly outstanding. We were sad to leave the school, but we know our daughter was well-prepared for secondary school *(Sep 2022)*
