Watton-at-Stone Primary and Nursery School

We've been at Watton-at-Stone for 3 years now, and I couldn't be happier with the school. The teachers are all so supportive and enthusiastic, and my child has made some amazing friends. The Daily Mile and Forest School programs are a highlight for us - it's great to see the kids getting so much exercise and learning about nature. We feel so lucky to be a part of this community!

I was initially worried about my child transitioning to Year 2, but the teachers at Watton-at-Stone have been fantastic in supporting her. The school's focus on wellbeing and mental health is really impressive, and I love that they encourage the kids to be their best selves. The facilities are also great - the playground is so much fun for the kids, and the school meals are healthy and delicious.

My child attended Watton-at-Stone from Reception to Year 4, and we had a mixed experience overall. Some of the teachers were fantastic, while others seemed to struggle with classroom management. However, I do think the school has a great ethos and values system, and my child learned a lot about kindness, empathy, and respect. Perhaps with some tweaks to the teaching staff and curriculum, this school could be truly exceptional.
