## About

St Mary’s CE Primary School was built in 1845 to provide education for the children of the Parish; the school sits adjacent to St Mary’s Church and has strong links with the Parish and the local community. For over 175 years the school has provided excellent education based on traditional Christian values, and it is our intention, through care and gentleness, to nurture Christian values so that ‘living, loving and learning’ are at the heart of our school.

The school has a great atmosphere and the teachers are enthusiastic and dedicated. However, our child did struggle with the homework load at times, and we felt that the school could do more to support children with special needs. That being said, the school's commitment to its values and its community is admirable, and we appreciate the opportunity to have been a part of it *(Sep 2022)*
