- **1/5** — Awful school: Worst school ever. I'd move house before subjecting my children to it! *(Nov 2025)*
- **1/5** — Don't send your kid here: Don't send your kid here, the place is shambles. The list of issues is endless. There's a reason they have such high staff turnover. *(Jun 2025)*
- **1/5** — Terrible: This school has gone down hill massively over the last 6-8 years. They do not deal with bullying. There is zero empathy from teachers. It's a school that want robots and only care about high achievers. *(Aug 2024)*
- **1/5** — Not recommended but nothing better in Hemel unfortunately: Management of school belong to the fourties’ times while the children’s are tik tok generation. I will leave the rest for you to imagine *(Dec 2023)*
- **1/5** — don't go here: the food is disgusting and overpriced, i get pupil premium so they give me money to but food but it's nowhere near enough i can buy 1 maybe 2 things and i'm obviously still hungry. they claim to care about mental health but then they ring your mum constantly to complain about your attendance. most of the teacher don't give a fuck they expect you to have the work they set today done yesterday. it's took maybe 6 months to get counselling. i could only have like 2 weeks off when my dad died because… *(Apr 2023)*
- **1/5** — Avoid this school: Bad school. My child who has ADHD has zero support or understanding. Always labelled as naughty despite showing them doctors reports about her case. Too old fashioned management and it s a one size fits all school. My child is resenting school And she might be a school leaver thanks to their lack of support *(Mar 2023)*
- **5/5** — Our school experience so far has been wonderful!: We moved to Hemel Hempstead last year and were nervous about our children settling into the new school. But The Hemel Hempstead School has been amazing! The teachers are so supportive and the facilities are fantastic. My daughter loves the NexusOne programme and is really thriving in her classes. *(Sep 2022)*
- **5/5** — An excellent all-round school: We're really happy with The Hemel Hempstead School so far. The 5Rs values are great and our son is learning so much from the teachers. The school also does a lot to support students' mental health and wellbeing, which is really important to us. *(Jun 2022)*
- **2/5** — If you are Worried about money , read this: I mean there’s a lot of things really. It’s nice to see some people speaking the truth about the school in honesty. To start , the food is wayyy overpriced (£2.10 for a panini) which wouldn’t be an issue if there wasn’t a £5 limit every day (that’s for lunch and break) I think at the time of me writing this , flavoured water is .90 which is just crazy. This Bacically means (at the time of writing) you can’t get two paninis and a water in one day . Which is crazy considering the school expect tha… *(Jan 2022)*
- **1/5** — terrible: i wish i could give it a worse rating really. appalling treatment of student all around , no care for them at all. all their care about is the gcse grades for THEIR reputation. *(Aug 2021)*
