About Churchill Special Free School

Churchill School is a modern, purpose-built school that caters for children aged between 8 and 18 years who have language and communication difficulties, high functioning autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, social pragmatic difficulties, and specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia.

"Mixed experience"

We've had a mixed experience at Churchill School. Our child has thrived in their core subjects, but has struggled in certain areas where they require extra support. The staff are generally caring and supportive, but we feel that there could be more consistency in their approach to supporting children with SEND.

"Our child has thrived at Churchill School"

We have been absolutely delighted with the progress our child has made at Churchill School. The staff are caring and supportive, and the facilities are excellent. Our child particularly loves the sensory room and the variety of activities on offer.

"Helping our child grow in confidence"

Churchill School has been a game-changer for our child. The values of responsibility, respect, resilience, courage, and compassion are instilled every day, and we've seen a huge increase in their confidence and self-esteem. The staff are always available to offer support and guidance, and we feel like part of a community.

"Excellent support for our child's needs"

We were blown away by the level of support our child received at Churchill School. The staff went above and beyond to tailor their learning to their needs, and we saw significant progress in their speech and language skills. We would highly recommend Churchill School to any family considering a special school.
