## About

Educating children is a very special opportunity and one that we take very seriously here at St Mary's Church of England Primary School. Whether children are in Reception, starting their educational journey with us, or in Year 6 and preparing for their secondary schools, their personal and academic progress is monitored closely and all children are equally valued in a safe and supportive environment. At the heart of everything we do is our Christian ethos: we enjoy close links with the local church and this further supports our core values.

## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Wonderful School Experience: I've been thoroughly impressed with the staff at St Mary's. The facilities are great and my child loves attending. The Christian ethos really shines through and I've seen a big change in my child's behaviour, thanks to the school's values. We're so grateful to be part of the school community! *(Feb 2022)*
- **5/5** — A Great All-Rounder: We're really happy with our experience at St Mary's so far. The teachers are all supportive and engaged, and the school's commitment to inclusivity is wonderful. I love that the children are encouraged to take part in various programs and activities outside of the classroom, it really broadens their horizons. *(Sep 2021)*
- **3/5** — Some Mixed Feelings: While I had a good experience overall at St Mary's, I do think that the school could work on communicating more effectively with parents. My child was in a small class last year, but I've heard from friends that the classes have got bigger and it's harder to get a word in edgeways with the teachers. Still, I think the school has a lot going for it and I'm glad I chose it for my child. *(Jun 2020)*
