Nidderdale High School is a thriving and unique 11-16 comprehensive school set in the rural location of Pateley Bridge, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The ethos of our school is a clear one: to enable our students to thrive and progress, our motto being ‘Achievement for All’. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment that also challenges students to achieve the highest academic standards.

"Nidderdale High School Exceeds Expectations"

I was initially hesitant to send my child to a smaller school, but Nidderdale High has truly exceeded our expectations. The small class sizes have allowed my child to thrive and the teachers are all so passionate about what they do.

"A True Community - Nidderdale High School"

Nidderdale High School is more than just a school, it's a community! The teachers genuinely care about the students and the school's focus on individualized learning has been a game-changer for my child. I love the values they're teaching, from teamwork to ambition, it's wonderful to see!

"Supportive and Challenging - A Great Combo"

I've been impressed by the level of support my child has received throughout their time at Nidderdale High. The teachers are always available to chat and provide guidance, and the curriculum is challenging yet engaging.

"Some Ups and Downs, but Generally Positive"

We had a mixed experience with Nidderdale High. The school's focus on individualized learning was great for my child, but we sometimes felt like communication with the teachers was lacking. That being said, my child did do well academically and I applaud the school's efforts to promote teamwork and ambition.
