Children’s mental health don’t mean a thing in this school: I strongly feel the teachers need more training on how to deal with bullying! The school keeps bragging about anti-bullying policy when in fact they don’t give a damn about the children suffering mental health issues and fear of coming to school as nothing gets done about it! I took my daughter out as she suffered with mental health due to bullying, endless amounts of visits but strangely enough the bullies had more attention and praise. I went that to Maes and my siblings did..Obviously things … *(Jan 2023)* - **1/5** — Good school gone terrible: Anti bullying policy doesn’t exist! My child suffered mental health issues due to being bullied. (by a person that also bullies others) The well being of children is obviously non existent! Best thing I did was take my child out and transfer to another school. Shame really it used to be a good, friendly school. *(Jan 2023)* - **1/5** — Thanks for the trauma.: Read any of the reviews here and they sum up pretty much everything you need to know. When it gets to the point that students are having seizures frequently due to stress, having mental breakdowns in corridors, are incredibly depressed and engaging in self harm and suicide attempts - then you know it's pretty bad. This school does not care one bit about it's students. Only a few teachers cared enough but even then they couldn't do much because the higher ups would stop them. The WASP-iest of sch… *(Oct 2022)* - **2/5** — Mental health: This school doesn't give an ounce of respect for children's mental health. *(Oct 2022)* - **1/5** — Awful: Disappointing, bad reputation Don’t care about their students or health Rude to children and make them do unecessary activities Awful academic structure *(Sep 2022)* - **1/5** — Unsupportive: I do not recommend going to this school. Their teachers are terrible, they talk the whole lesson and never accomplish what they were meant to teach. Mental health is something I've been struggling for year with ever since I joined the school. I was a happy child who turned into a sad child. School counselling is an option but the waiting list is incredibly long. 3 and a half months I've been waiting on that list and still haven't been able to see one. I feel let down and unable to speak to the s… *(May 2022)* - **2/5** — Wow!!!: The bullying at this school is attrocious and they do nothing about it for instance my little girl came home the other day after being hit and said the teachers did nothing about it. *(Apr 2022)* - **1/5** — This school messed me up.: Words cannot describe how much I hated this place. Letting children get away with bullying their peers. Favouritism. Discrimination. I wouldn’t send my children here. *(Mar 2022)* - **1/5** — Disappointing.: Teachers held no regard over the students welfare. Ensuring homework was completed and top button buttoned up was far more important than questioning behavioural issues. Teachers were aware of home trouble but thought it best to punish challenging behaviour then actually talking about it. Teachers openly talked about who their favourite students were and reacted accordingly. Teachers have been caught out lying to parents about situations that has risen within school. Placing all blame on student… *(Mar 2021)* ## Other schools in Flint - [Cornist Park C.P.
