About Kingsgate School

Kingsgate School is an independent special school for children aged 7 to 16 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties, and associated complex needs. We provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where pupils can feel successful and supported to make life changing holistic progress.

"A School that truly cares"

Our child was at Kingsgate for a year before they moved up to a mainstream school. The school's approach to emotional and mental health was a game-changer for our child. They truly cared for our child's needs and helped them develop essential life skills. We miss them dearly but are grateful for the experience.

"Supportive environment"

My child has been at Kingsgate for a year now, and I've seen a significant improvement in their behavior and attitude. The school's pastoral care is excellent, and the staff are always available to support us. However, I do feel that the school could improve on providing more extracurricular activities.

"Unbelievable progress"

Our child has been at Kingsgate for 3 years now, and it's been an incredible journey. The school's holistic approach to education has helped our child overcome their challenges and discover their strengths. We're so grateful for the support and guidance they've received. We couldn't ask for more.

"Life Changing Experience"

My child has been at Kingsgate School for 2 years now and the transformation is incredible. The staff are dedicated, and the facilities are amazing. They have helped my child overcome their challenges and build their confidence. I couldn't be more grateful.
