## About

Matford Brook Academy is a new all-through school within the Haldon Reach development on the outskirts of Exeter. Our mission is to provide an excellent, all-through education that empowers children to believe they can, and should, change the world around them. We summarise this in one mantra that is woven through the fabric of our school: at Matford Brook Academy, we write our story.

## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Excellent school with a wonderful atmosphere!: I'm so impressed with Matford Brook Academy! My child has only just started and already feels so at home. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are top-notch. I love that their motto is 'we write our story' - it's all about empowering the children to be the best they can be. We're so lucky to have this school in Exeter! *(Sep 2022)*
- **5/5** — Amazing school with a true commitment to accessibility: I have nothing but praise for Matford Brook Academy. My child attended the nursery and preschool, and the care and education they received was outstanding. I was also impressed by the school's commitment to accessibility - they truly believe in making their website and facilities accessible to all. We've moved to a new area, but I'd still recommend this school to anyone looking for a high-quality education. *(Jun 2022)*
- **4/5** — Generally good, but a few areas for improvement: I've had a few issues with communication from the school, but overall I'm happy with the education my child is receiving. I love that they offer a wide range of extracurricular activities, and the facilities are well-maintained. However, I do think they could improve their website accessibility - as a parent with a disability, I've had to rely on others to help me navigate the site. Still, it's a great school and I'm glad we chose it. *(Jan 2022)*
