## Recent parent reviews

- **4/5** — Room for improvement in some areas: We've had a mixed experience at St Matthews. Some of the teachers, such as Mr Thompson in Year 5, are excellent and have helped our child develop a love of learning. However, the school's IT provision is a bit outdated and the playground could do with some more equipment. Still, we're overall happy with the school. *(Nov 2025)*
- **5/5** — Excellent all-round education at St Matthews: We've been delighted with the education our children have received at St Matthews in Derby. The teachers, particularly Miss Patel in Year 3, have been supportive and encouraging, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained. Our kids have really thrived here! *(Aug 2025)*
