## Recent parent reviews

- **5/5** — Excellent experience at Hackwood Primary Academy: We moved to the area and were so impressed with the facilities and the teachers at Hackwood. Our child's progress is amazing and their phonics skills are far ahead of their peers. The Hackwood Expectations are really evident in the children's behaviour and attitude to learning. We couldn't be happier. *(Sep 2022)*
- **5/5** — Fantastic school with a great vision: My child has been at Hackwood for 3 years and we've seen some amazing developments. The INSPIRE Curriculum is really engaging and the staff are dedicated to helping the children succeed. The school tour was also really helpful in getting a sense of the school's values and ethos. Highly recommended. *(Feb 2022)*
- **5/5** — Wonderful school for our little one: Hackwood Primary Academy has been a great choice for our child. They love their teacher and the activities they get to do in class. The Early Years provision is excellent and we've seen some great progress in our child's learning. The staff are friendly and approachable, making us feel welcome at the school. *(Nov 2021)*
- **3/5** — A mixed experience at Hackwood: My child left Hackwood a year ago and while we were generally pleased with the school, there were some issues with communication with the teachers. The school tour was helpful in showing us the facilities and the children were always friendly. However, the school's emphasis on certain values sometimes felt a bit too rigid. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not outstanding in our opinion. *(Aug 2020)*
